This "pie-crust" frame profile is inspired by the frames created and designed by American 20th century artist Florine Stettheimer.

The frame depicted here is 2" wide, finished in gold metal leafing with a heavy rub, revealing the black gesso.

The artwork is matted with a continuously wrapped linen and matching gold metal leaf bevel.
