Cherry wood spline joined multi step reverse profile frame with a dark rosewood stain.  The top and lip of the profile are gilded in 22k gold leaf with a light rub to expose the red bole.

Here, the artwork is floating on a platform of savoy natural silk,  surrounded with a deep bevel matting of matching continuously wrapped silk.
